Students Earn Honors at American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing

Congratulations go to 2 students of Dr. David R. Shaw, William L. Giles Distinguished Professor and Director of the GeoResources Institute. The students received honors at the recent 2004 Annual Conference held in Denver, Colorado, for the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
Darrin Dodds earned 1st place in the Graduate Student Poster Contest with his poster entitled
Species Differentiation Using Hyperspectral Remote Sensing, while Ken Hutto placed 4th in the contest with his poster
Implementation of Remote Sensing Technologies in Irrigation Management of Golf Course Greens. Both are PhD students in Plant and Soil Sciences.
