Mississippi Department of Marine Resources Offers Paid Internships

The MDMR has established a paid internship program as part of the State of Mississippi College Internship Program.  The deadline date to apply is Friday, April 10, 2015. The program requires students to have a minimum 30 hours of college course credit, with additional criteria established by the MDMR.

For Summer 2015, the following 6 intern positions are now available for qualified candidates to apply. Select position to see job description.

1. Accounting Intern
2. Coastal Preserves Environmental Interpreter Intern
3. Estuarine Ecology Intern
4. GIS Analyst Intern
5. Marine Patrol Intern
6. Seafood Officer Intern

To apply for a specific internship, please submit a resume and requested documentation noted in the job description via email to HR@dmr.ms.gov.  Please note in the subject line the internship number (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6) and intern job title. Resumes will be accepted through April 10, 2015.
