Dr. Madsen Accepts Invitation to Speak in the Eighth Annual Onondaga Lake Scientific Forum

Dr. John Madsen has accepted the invitation to speak in the Eighth Annual Onondaga Lake Scientific Forum at the LeMoyne Manor Inn & Banquet Center, in Liverpool, New York. The forum will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006. Onondaga Lake was once dubbed "the most polluted lake in the United States." There will be oral presentations of recent research related to Onondaga Lake, its tributaries, the Seneca River, and other central New York systems. There will also be poster presentations on topics related to Onondaga Lake, Seneca River, and other New York surface waters.

Dr. Madsen's topic will be "Changes in the Littoral Aquatic Plant Community of Onondaga Lake from 1991 to 2006".
