GRI Helps Celebrate Engineering Day
September 26, 2006The GeoResources Institute recently participated in the Bagley College of Engineering's Engineering Day 2006. Held on Saturday, September 16, the event was well attended by over 400 alumni, family and friends who received an update from dean Kirk Schulz as well as visited with former classmates and professors. Participants met students and saw projects that they have been working on, viewed various exhibits located on the Drill Field near McCain Hall, and toured several of the engineering departments and laboratories. Visitors were treated to barbecue from the Little Dooey prior to the MSU vs. Tulane football game. This event was the second annual Engineering Day organized by the Bagley College of Engineering at MSU.
